Le Cappelle

Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva DOCG

Serving temperature: Serve at 18°C

This wine, produced for the first time in 1990, comes from a careful selection of the best grapes of the vineyards and is made only when the harvest is qualitatively perfect.

The grapes come from Le Cappelle vineyard, a parcel of about 2 ha with Clayey soil at an altitude of
about 380 meters above sea level. Alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats with three weeks on the skins, three pumping over per day and two delestages.
Matures partly in 500 lt oak tonneaux and partly in concrete tanks where it completely carries out the malolactic fermentation. It remains in wood and in cement for at least 12 months, then refining in bottle for at least 9 months.
Complex and full-bodied wine, it has a nice intense ruby red appearance. Aromas stand out on the nose
with intense flavors of ripe fruit and jams combined with pleasant spiciness.

In the mouth it is warm, soft and persistent with a very elegant finish.

Aging forecast 8-10 years.
