The "Poggio al Chiuso" farm is situated in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Our wine is made of the best grape varieties cultivated in the Chianti area, such as Sangiovese, and fully respects the Tuscan winemaking tradition. The cultivation of these grapes can be traced back through the centuries to ancient Greece and Rome. In fact, the word Sangiovese comes from the Latin "sanguis Jovis," which means blood of Jupiter.
