Poggio al Chiuso is a big Tuscan farmhouse, which stands in the heart of the Chianti countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is not far from Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, a beautiful little town with bars, restaurants, banks, shops and everything else you might need. The house has been recently renovated, with delightfully finished interiors, in keeping with its original Tuscan style.

The four apartments are roomy and comfortable, furnished in traditional Tuscan style, each one with independently regulated heating. On the ground floor there is a big room with a fireplace, telephone, sat-TV and internet point for all our guests.

By request you can use our "Cucinone" (extra large kitchen) for group dinners and Tuscan cooking courses. Behind the house lies the swimming pool (12x6 metres), surrounded by a large garden, an ideal place for relaxing. Poggio al Chiuso is situated halfway between Florence and Siena: the perfect location for discovering Tuscany and all its naturalistic and artistic treasures, either by bike, on foot or by car.

On our farm you can taste wine, olive oil, vinsanto and grappa, all the products that our family has been making since 1971. During their stay guests can enjoy the organic vegetables produced by ourselves.
